Answer 1

Because it was the Arabs land first; It's called Palestine.

The Jews migrated their, started murdering them (they still do) and taking their land by force (with the monetary and military weapons help of the USA), bulldozing their homes, pushing them out further and further away. They presently do this to the Palestinian Arabs, because they Jews have a growing population, so they need the land. The Palestinians fight back, and in return are labeled terrorists for trying to get their country back from the Jews.

Think, the Indians and the Pilgrims. The Whites took the Native American Indians land and pushed them all onto reservations.

Think, the Africans of South Africa and the Europeans who sold them into slavery and pushed the rest of them off of their land to other areas of their own country. A large majority of Europeans still reside in South Africa to this day.

Answer 2

Yes, Arabs should try to control Israel. Palestine is an Arab land since it came into existence, but bitterly, the Israelis are insisting it's their land and have already conquered it 60 years ago. As a Muslim, we believe that GOD (Allah) ordered the true ancient Israelites to enter Palestine and live there, but they refused to go there with their prophet (Moses) and didn't want to fight with him. So Allah cursed them by not allowing them, nor their children, to enter this land for at least 40 years. We believe it's our land and that this Israel that is getting constructed now is a false country built on pointless reasons with no origin or references (Not only we say this, but also MANY of the Israeli scholars).

Pro-Israeli Answers & Dissenting Opinions

Answer 1

The question is written in a very slanted way as it is not "Should the Arabs control Israel", but it is written as if such an opinion is already affirmed, a position that is not necessarily the case. If the question is to be interpreted as "What are the Arab reasons defending why they should control Israel?" then perhaps there are some observations to be made.

State of 3: This is the most common reason that non-Arabs support for Arab control of Israel. The Israeli occupation of the West Bank and the blockade of the Gaza Strip is not in line with democratic values and Jewish nature of the State of Israel. There is a saying that "Israel is a State with 3 Attributes: it is a Jewish State (meaning that the population of the State is ethnically Jewish and has a Jewish character), it is a Democratic State (meaning that all citizens have equal rights), and it controls the West Bank. It's got to choose two." Those who refuse to give up the West Bank are those who will turn Israel into a majority Arab country. If this happens, the only way to retain a Jewish character is through a violent, oppressive apartheid state. If Democracy is retained, than Israel would necessarily become an Arab State.

Historical Connection: The Palestinians were there when the Jews decided to return. Why should they be denied their inheritance for the dreams of Germans, Frenchmen, Brits, and Russians?

Answer 2

NO NO! The word Palestine is not even an Arabic word. It was originally the name of an non-Arab, not Semitic pre-Islamic people from the area of Greece, who invaded the Levant and settled in what is now Gaza. Jews had their land invaded and were kicked out of their homeland by the Romans. Since nobody wanted us, we went home as was prophesied in The Bible. Many Arab leaders in the early days of the 20th century were happy about the Jewish return, very friendly, and worked with Zionist leaders. The new prosperity from Jewish return home, together with organized British rule, caused thousands of Arabs to move to the Mandate of Palestine. The British gave 80% of Palestine to an Arabian Bedouin clan, the Hashemites, in the 1930s--today's Jordan.

Then, the same Arab leaders who were pro-Hitler also misled the Arab peoples into bloodshed. You once had much better leaders! You have most of "Palestine" already, and you let Arabian Bedouins rule you.

Why should Israelis control Arabs?

The question as posed is nonsensical. An equivalent question is "Why should Americans control Hispanics?" The problem with both of these questions is that Israeli and American are nationalities irrespective of race, ethnicity, or religion, whereas Arab and Hispanic are ethnicities with common religions, but exist irrespective of citizenship. As a result, there are a large number of Israeli Arabs (20% of Israel) and American Hispanics (17% of the USA). The terms are not exclusive. If the question is asking "Why should the Jews in Israel control the Arabs in Israel?" the question is based on an incorrect implicit assumption: Jews control Arabs in Israel. Arabs have several different parties in Israeli politics and some of these Arabs have voiced dissent or disagreement with the Right of Israel to Exist at all without losing their seats or their parties being banned. Arabs are just as free to exercise political will as Jews are in Israel. The better question might be "Why do Muslim Arabs get to control Jews in Arab countries?" but people chose not to ask this question because they know that they will not like the answer.
