PLEASE REMEMBER SAVE THE WHALES OK
Whales are still getting killed. Mostly by the Japanese for the meat but their official statment is for research...
Yes. They still catch sei, sperm, Bryde's, and minke whales in the North Pacific and Antarctic minke and fin whales in the Southern Ocean. They catch over 1,000 per year -- mostly minke whales.
Dolphins and whales were the first to settle in Japan, once the Japanese landed there they drove them out. There was a lot of controversy and hatred that brewed due to the policies that Japanese imposed on the dolphins and whales and to this day there still is a great animosity between the groups.
Go out and hit a Norwegian or a Japanese on their snout. They are the only 2 countries still insisting to hunt whales for "scientific purposes". Ok dont hit them just refuse to buy any good coming from those countries and encourage your friends to do the smae.
No commercial whaling is allowed south of 60 degrees S, based on the Antarctic Treaty.
yes you can many Japanese people still hunt whales for "scientific research" but is sold in local markets of japanYes.
Some small whales are called dolphins, but small whales are still whales.
"The majority do not allow you to enter if you have a tattoo, or a visible piercing that isn't the usual ear piercing."
The oldest type of whales are the bowhead whales. Bowhead whales are still around today.
He should be since he's not allowed to date.
well... it depends what you're talking about...and what perspective you are seeing it from. If your thinking that there are too many whales, wrong, there arent enough. Whales should really be saved because the ecosystem of the ocean relies on whales for many things, and for us, they are pretty to watch, so without whales, the ecosystem of the ocean would undergo many changes, and not for the better. Also, whaling is still legal in Japan, Norway, and Iceland. Which is terrible because these poor whales are getting slaughtered for no good reason! SAVE THE WHALES!
Absolutely not. They're old, therefore should be sitting still.
