I've never even visited America but I imagine visitors should go to Mammoth Cave because it's a spectacular cave in a beautiful area!
I've just tried my own advice, to search for its operators' on-line publicity phtotos, but I could find only what look like tourists' own, low-quality snaphots, not properly-made studies by cave-photographers that do it justice.
I would still advise it - you may have better luck than me trying to find decent photos - but it's still not the same as actually visting the cave.
