It's not that you HAVE to, exactly! but i think it is an educational experience and the best thing to read if you are interested in World War II.
I think that to say she was brave, as some do, would not be entirely correct, as she did not do anything she did by choice. though i do believe that any Jew around in Hitler's time is to be pitied and somewhat admired.
The true brave people would be Miep Gies and co.
Also, i think, had she lived, anne frank would definitely have become a best selling author. just think: if she could produce that sort of material at 13, what could she have done as an adult?
Also, after reading her diary, i read a book called 'the last seven months of anne frank' which told the story of a few women who, like herself, were in concentration camps. i found it very interesting but unfortunately cannot remember the author's name!! sorry!
RIP Anne Frank.
Anne Franks favorite color was Green, I remember I read it in a book about her.

Anne Frank (a young Dutch girl) hid with her family (they were Jewish), in a tiny false room, from the Germans when they invaded their country (Holland) in the second world war. She wrote a diary of the events over a long period. Eventually they were discovered. Anne Frank died in a German Concentration Camp. You owe it to her to read her diary, which has been published in many languages.
