Because if your not yourself then when you all are together he/she is going to see that you lied to them about not being yourself and they should like you for who u r not who u r pretending to be.

∙ 13y agoIf your not yourself then who are you? I know people that have tried so hard to be something they are not, and now they don't know who they are. This may not sound like a bad thing but many of these people loose their friends because they are so fake and no one feels like they can trust the person. The people that don't lose their friends are often filled with stress and unhappiness as are the ones who did loose their friends. I used to try to be like other people so you can trust me when i say that it is the most amazing feeling when you finally except yourself.
