one must get anti tetanus serum(a.t.s) after an injury specially in the case of cuts because the cut portion is now exposed to atmoshphere and it is prone to infection caused by bctetria,fungus etc since the atmoshphere carries a lots of microbes in it .the anti tetanus serum intiates the w.b.c to fight against any foreign invation or entry of foreign microbes.some pathogenic microbes live in our body also .which causes disease.this tetanus vaccine saves us from infections
