Check your engines thermostat
I believe Mercedes run off regular gas, it could possibly be the name of the car but not the type of gas it runs off of. To find out if it does or not visit the nearest car dealership that sells a Mercedes Diesel and ask about it.
the expansion valve for the climate control system is located in the middle of the firewall right under the windshield wiper system. should be a brass looking block with 2 aluminum lines coming off it.
its all computerized. When the car is off go thru the files on the steering wheel and it tells u the oil level.
right side corner of the engine department aprox. 35 by 20 cm. should pop up easily ... Not there on the sedan you will find it in the trunk on the driver side. You will see a rectangular panel that will pull off for your relays and fuses.
Dont know the part # right off hand, but if you just give the dealer a call, they should be able to get you one, or I think you can also just buy the special dipstick and install that instead of the cover.
Well hopefully not much as it still is likely under warranty. Otherwise, it probably comes down to what needs to be fixed on the unit you have, compared to finding one off a wreck. many other years/models should work.
You will need to first open up the hood. Locate the dip stick for the oil and then pull it out. Wipe off, stick back into the oil, and pull out again to see where the oil levels are.
To reset the service light on a Mercedes-Benz M Class, disconnect the positive cable on the battery for a few minutes. If this does not do the trick, turn the key on and pump the gas three times then turn the key off. Start the vehicle. The light should be off.
To remove the main key, make sure it's in the 'off' position, and the car is in park. To remove the glove box key, push the skinny button on the top over and it will release.
Changing the spark plug wires in your 1999 Mercedes-Benz is quite simple. The spark plug wires simply lift off. The new spark plug wires can be pushed onto the spark plug. It is best to change one wire at a time.
