because they kill animals to get the fur. also, most industrial fur comes from chinese fur farms, which are horrible animal cruelty - they abuse the animals and skin them alive. The fur farms use lots of dog pelts from someones beloved pet that they have kidnapped, and lable them as being fron some other animal. I don't know about you, but the thought of wearing someone's Fido around my neck doesn't seem very posh or fair.

∙ 13y agoBecause there is no reason for it. It is completely unnecessary and it causes pain and suffering to innocent animals. We know how to make cloth. We aren't cavemen. We don't need to wear another animal's skin.
