When a gay man and a lesbian date to hide being gay, it's called having a beard. A straight woman who acompanies a gay man to an event so that he can hide being gay is also called a beard. There is no special term for a straight man dating a lesbian.

Maybe you two should talk to eachother. Either on the phone or at a cafe. Let everything out on the table as they say. Meaning, don't hide any of your feelings and tell her not to hide any of her feelings either. Good luck:)
Simple: he doesn't want you to know about his girlfriend. I wouldn't trust him, but if you know he's dating someone & you respect his relationship & his girlfriend, you should be all right.

It means "she" has something to hide.
u don't tell the truth and they will hopefully understand
Say, "Thank you for the compliment, but I'm not interested." If he presses, tell him it's really none of his business. You don't have to be any politer that he is. (I would not recommend telling him you're a lesbian -- not because you should hide it, but because that doesn't usually stop guys. They just smile and say something stupid like "You just haven't met the right guy yet.")
maybe just Mae it a surprise and hide the somewherre shell find them with a note.
