Throwing things in a classroom is a safety issue. Someone could get hurt by the object thrown. The object thrown could upset or break something. A person could be hurt by the object that was upset or broken.

∙ 11y agoConsidering the quality of food served in some schools, I should imagine the first concern is that it may end up in someone's mouth!
The throwing of food, or anything for that matter, should be axiomatic: It's disruptive, it can hurt someone, it's disrespectful to those around you and it's most certainly an infantile behaviour.
Fellow students might begin to alienate themselves from the thrower, choosing to exclude him/her from their friendship and camaraderie - something that's an essential part of a student's life.
Others may simply shrug their shoulders and ignore them, recognising that in every sphere of life there must always be someone whose life is destined to reach its apex as an employee on the late-shift of an all-night taco shop.
Whatever the outcome, the thrower is most likely someone who will never realise any benefits from a bowl of alphabet soup.
