Zoos should be used only for breeding programs for endangered species, or to rehabilitate those that have been injured, or are too sick to survive on their own. Also, maybe for the education of people about how to help those same endangered species, and how to protect them. But a zoo shouldn't keep animals just for fun, so that people can tease them or harass animals that can't get away. Plus a zoo should never have any animals if they are neglecting, or mistreating them in any manner. If a zoo is discovered mishandling their animals they should be shut down, and new owners found to run it through an animal rights organizations.

∙ 12y agoAnimals should not be kept in zoo's because they are just like us and how would u feel if you where put in a cage? they should stay wild and if you hurt them they will hurt you ecause your doing wrong if your trying to hurt a animal!
