simply because we are afraid of committing mistakes. it is normal for students to feel anxious of their answers and sometimes we are also afraid of how to deliver our words corrrectly because we don't want to be corrected or lets just say we don't want to get embarass. we are ashamed of our answers thinking it might be wrong, or possibly we just don't know the answer :P
