Why south Indians hate people from poor states like UP Bihar and Odisha?

Because South Indian culture is generally about humbleness, politeness and decency. You will hardly find any south indian hurling abuses and never the mother/sister abuses.

When Biharis esp. labourers migrate to other states, they bring with them a culture of aggression, rowdiness and abuses. This antagonizes the people of the state towards them. They see Biharis as corrupt, uncouth and oppurtunistic, which sadly is true. Good and well cultured Biharis from Bihar are an exception and not a norm. Instead of showing false pride, Biharis would do well to improve their attitude and mentality and try to adapt to other peoples culture instead of thumping their chest and priding themselves in their goon type attitude.
