Best Answer

Because sugar appeals to our taste buds, and your taste buds are designed to respond to foods that cause you to store a lot of fat like ice cream. Foods loaded with sugar and fat help people to get through times of famine. The Average American does not go through times of famine as our ancestors did. This is unfortunately why the best tasting foods tend to make us the fattest.

Sugar is good for you because , Sugar is converted into glucose ,which fuels our brain. Also sugar heals wounds and it stops mold and yeast growing and a teaspoon has only 15 calories unless you overdo it.
