If you meant, "Why do super computers have so many processors" then the answer is:
A computer's processor can only do one thing at a time - it can do it quickly, but only one thing at a time.
If you have two processors, it can do two things at a time, four processors, four things at a time and so forth...
If you are performing a lot of complex calculations and are able to split the work up, you can feed it to the processors in different "Threads" at the same time and therefore get the work done very quickly.
If you have 16 processors, the work that used to take 16 hours may only take an hour!
If it took 16 minutes, now takes 1 minute...
Hope that helps
Pete
Your PC could have a slow processor. The processor speed on your computer will slow down how fast your computer operates.
Do you mean "What is the processor?" of a computer? If so then just go to wikipedia.
The components are usually insulated so the processor can stay pretty cool for a while
Computer parts can be come VERY hot and if they are not cooled down sufficiently it can ruin your computer. The fan is to cool down the processor.
There are only three major blocks to a computer so the diagram is very simple. The ALU,I/O,PROCESSOR.
So the link between the processor and the peripheral is complete :-)!
Both the processor, which allows the computer to do tasks, the better that is, the faster your computer can work the RAM which stores the things for the processor to process, the more you have the better. AND the hard drive, the faster this is, the faster the processor can grab information off it.
The processor. It is located on the motherboard. Sometimes people refer to the motherboard as a computer's brains also. closure
It is of no importance at all to the average computer user. All it tells you is the clock that the machine runs on and there are many other variables (both hardware and software) that affect the actual performance of the computer in actual use on real world problems. Without accounting for these variables, processor speed will be very misleading. For many people processor speed is important as a "boasting number" so that they can claim to be better than another person!
hard drive, memory, operating system, screen, processor and etc
nope i got 1 and its pretty fast same as mine so so fast and windows 7
"There are many sites that compare intel and amd processor speeds, but the best person to go to would be your local computer store. The processor speeds only mean so much no-a-days, as you also need to take into account dual and quad core processors."
