Alibata was changed into roman alphabet because of the influence of the Americans, and it was introduced to Filipinos during world war where Thomasites were the one teaching Filipinos with the English language and also the roman alphabet. And as of now, the modern times, only those native Filipinos on high mountains are trained to write alibata, and it's also not a major subject on some universities, to teach alibata and write alibata for the whole year, because Filipinos and other people from all around the world usually follow the Roman Alphabet.

The shift from the Alibata script to the Roman alphabet in the Philippines was mainly due to the influence of Spanish colonization. The Spanish colonizers introduced the Roman alphabet to help in their mission to spread Christianity and facilitate communication. Over time, the Roman alphabet became more widely adopted and eventually replaced the use of the Alibata script.

The letter "A" is the first letter of the English alphabet because it is descended from the Phoenician letter "aleph," which was the first letter of the Phoenician alphabet. Over time, this letter was adopted by the Greeks as "alpha," and eventually made its way into the Latin alphabet as "A."

What is the Difference between the phonetic symbols of the International Phonetic Alphabet and the 26 letters of the Roman alphabet used to write English?

The International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA) uses symbols to represent speech sounds, while the Roman alphabet is used to write English letters. The IPA provides a specific symbol for each unique sound in any language, whereas the Roman alphabet has a limited number of letters that represent both sounds and spelling conventions in English. IPA symbols aim to accurately represent any language's sounds, while the Roman alphabet is specific to English and may not capture the nuances of pronunciation in other languages.
