The temp may not go up until the antifreeze leaks way down. Or the temp gauge may not be working right. The leak needs to be fixed, or the engine can overheat and cause permanent damage.
yes just make sure antifreeze level is topped off and you will make it just watch temp gauge.
probably the coolant level sensor... Does the temprature gauge go up to hot then down to normal?
Usually there will be a repeating chirping noise during engine running, also your tempurture gauge reads hot . with me, i was leaking antifreeze/coolant, but not all the time
probably leaking or maybe a bad rad cap
check the antifreeze
No. The diaphragm on the pressure gauge is leaking, and the gauge will soon be inoperative. Have the extinguisher serviced and repaired.
Yes, because your vehicle will overheat.
A normal earring is 18 gauge. I'm not sure of the mm..
this sounds like a bad thing to me...like the reservoir and/or the cooling system, has no antifreeze in it and heat from the engine is exiting through the cooling system. Does your temperature gauge read in the normal range? Is the car running OK? FriPilot
The reason the temp. gauge is going up and down is because it is low on coolant. Now where it is leaking I don't know, but you can start by checking these few things. First check the engine oil and see if it's over full or if the oil is white in color, If it is then the intake manifold gaskets are leaking coolant into the oil. You will have to replace the intake gaskets and change the oil and filter a few times within 5 to 10 mins. of engine running time to clean engine up. If the oil is okay when you check it and it's not white in color then it's not leaking into the engine and that's a good thing. Then Fill radiator up, put cap on and start engine. Take your fingers and fill around all 4 corners of the intake manifold where it bolts to the heads, or look at the corners real close to see if there is antifreeze leaking or a white resedu on the intake corners. If there is then the intake is leaking and you will still have to replace gaskets on intake. THIS IS A REAL COMMON PROBLEM WITH YOUR ENGINE.
no you need to replace temperature sinding unit
Check your antifreeze? And could possibly be a head gasket.
