On a 2006 Pontiac Montana, the caliper bolts are typically designated as the upper and lower bolts. The upper caliper bolt is usually shorter than the lower bolt, which is longer. When replacing or reinstalling the caliper, ensure that the shorter bolt goes in the upper position and the longer one goes in the lower position to secure the caliper properly.
