there are only 2 in conservation yet even scientists cant tell if they actually are the right sharks. the river they are best known to swim in (ganges river, India) is polluted at the moment and the sharks can only survive in rivers so their habitat area is decreasing and so are they.

∙ 12y agoBecause of Human Activity. Hunting is the single biggest threat to these sharks. Humans have hunted these sharks for decades due to fear and general game hunting. They are classified as "Vulnerable" which means that, if we don't take steps to protect this species, they may go extinct soon.
