We are currently upgrading our user profiles to a include many more features, more badges, and more ways to recognize a user's contributions to the site. Because of this revamping, we had to put our Trust Point system on hold temporarily.
Our new point system is a huge improvement, and it will be up and running soon.
Your total WikiAnswers contribution points are calculated as the sum of all of the contribution points you have earned. These include first answers, edits, organizational actions, questions asked, and community contributions. All of these points come under the heading of "Contributions" in your WikiAnswers profile. Trust points are slightly different. Contributors do not directly earn these points through their contributions; they are awarded trust points by other WikiAnswers users. Therefore, trust points are not counted as contributions, and do not add to the contribution points total in a WikiAnswers profile.
If you mean your contributions or trust points, in the blue sidebar on the left, click "My profile," and to the right you will see your "stats."
As of August 2, 2014, Dlmick has the most trust points for non-Supervisors. View his profile via the related links below.
Trust points do not entirely help you get hired to work for WikiAnswers, since actually getting paid to work for WikiAnswers is different from the amount of trust points you received online.
The first trust points badge that can be added to your profile page is for 500 trust points.
There is no limit as to how many trust points a person can earn on WikiAnswers. Currently, the highest number of trust points held by a person on this site is well over 8,000.
Not always. Anyone can answer a question on WikiAnswers. You can look at the person who answered it at the bottom of the answer and check their profile. And look at the number of trust points they have earned and what they do for a living.
There are WAmmy's awarded annually for "Most trust points earned" and "Most Trust Points by a New Supervisor" the award is posted on the users profile page and they are also entered into the WAmmy hall of fame (see related link). There is also a related question below which shows all WikiAnswers users who have gained over 2,000 trust points.
Many have.
Currently, the WikiAnswers system of trust points hasn't changed - you can only add trust points, and you can only recommend from a question the user has answered by going to the contributors tab and clicking "recommend".
No, you are not able to hide your trust points from other users.
