Changing the oil doesn´t turn off the light automatically , you need to reset it. there is a very small push button on the dash board that has a label "RESET OIL CHANGE", with the engine off, push and keep pushing while you turn the key to power up the accesories but don´t turn the engine on. the light will go off after a second or so. Because you need to reset the light after you change the oil. Does the bathroom light switch turn the bathroom light on and off normally when the bedroom light switch is left on? Need to answer these questions, then find where the bathroom light power comes from. It's power supply should either go directly from the power oanel to the bathroom light or to the bathroom light switch. The bathroom light switch merely acts as an interrupter for the hot leg of this power supply.
