You use the percentages and record them.
You can use a bar graph when you are working with numers. :)
If the distribution is Gaussian (or Normal) use z-scores. If it is Student's t, then use t-scores.
Companies use probability in many different ways. For example, they may use it for quality control, or for risk analysis.
Jem could not escape because his pants were pulled taut in the wire fence.
You might be thinking of the scattergram.
To read a scattergram, observe how the data points are dispersed on the graph. Look for any patterns or trends, such as a positive or negative correlation. Assess how closely the points cluster around a line or show a particular shape, which can indicate the strength and direction of the relationship between the variables.
Any 2-dimensional graph - column/bar, line, scattergram will do the trick. It is difficult, though not impossible, to show such a relationship with a series of pie charts.
Introduced in 1912 by two astronomers named, logically enough, "Hertzprung" and "Russell" it is a scattergram that shows, by size, color and luminosity, what has come to be called the "main sequence" of stars (of which our sun is one). It is a slow "S" curve running from upper left to lower right. It also shows red giants and white dwarfs, to the upper right and lower left, respectively.
Multivariate is probably the most accurate answers. Graphs need not be bivariate - you can have graphs in 3 or more dimensions - not easy to visualise in more than 3-d but that does not mean they cannot exist. Graphs need not represent exact relationships - as any scattergram will demonstrate. Graphs are simply visual representations of information, presented in a form that [hopefully] conveys he information in an effective way. For one of my favourite semi-numeric graphs follow the link to see a graphical representation of Napoleon's invasion of Rusia.
