If you used a green or red screen, whatever you are looking at being projected would be that colour. Like when you draw with colours you use white paper instead of coloured and when you do use coloured the colours you are drawing with do not show up as well as they would on white.

Yes you can use a projector to display your computers output onto a projector, white wall/sheet. Keep in mind that a screen is designed to reflect much more light and color than you average white wall so the picture might not be as crisp as you want. Also keep in mind that the projector will have to have the correct input to match your computer output (VGA, HDMI, etc) or you have to have converters that will fit the inputs.
