Britain's involvement in the war led to the involvement of Canada, because it's a Commonwealth Nation.
Canada played a much biggger part in World war two
During WWII, yes, Canada and Russia were both part of the Allied Forces.
Canada, then described as being part of the British Empire, was on the side of the Allies.
Canada was part of the Commonwealth of Great Britain. Canada and Australia served as part of the British nation and therefore as member of the Allies.
As a part of the United Kingdom, it joined with its "Mother Country."
They were part of the Allies, which meant they won. That made Canada better.
Russia was part of the Soviet Union, they were Allies of France, England , Canada and the USA (the USA did not enter the war until 1941, 3 years after the war began)
Canada & Australia were part of the British forces.
because Canada is part of the commonwealth.
Newfoundland wasn't part of Canada until 1949. It was still a colony when the war broke out so it declared war seperately from Canada.
The Netherlands had nothing to do with Canada that related them with world war I
The economy of Canada improved after World War 2. They had sold bonds to fund the war effort too and did not have debt or as you say damages. They did lose over 40,000 people to the war and over 50,000 were injured. Canada was able to recover well after World War 2 just as the United States did. They were or became part of the United Nations. I have added a link for you to read about Canada and its experience before, during and after the war. They did not have the struggles the Brits had because Canada had not been heavily bombed as Britain had been. They did help the Brits with their recovery process.
