Elie's foot began to swell so he was sent to the hospital. A jewish doctor told Elie that his foot must be operated on. After the surgery Elie stayed in the hospital while he recovers.
Elie was placed into the hospital because he had an infected foot, which caused him immense pain and made it difficult for him to walk.
Elie has to go to the infirmary (hospital) because his right foot began to swell because of the cold weather
his dad would of got killed
Elie Wiesel ended up in the hospital due to heart problems. He had been experiencing heart-related issues, which led to his hospitalization.
he would get liberated.
Elie learned that those who stayed behind in the hospital were all killed by the Nazis. They were either shot or taken to the gas chambers.
Elie thought that everyone in the infirmary would be killed because the Nazi's didn't need sick people, they couldn't work.
because he thinks that its to help u
The camp was evacuated because the Soviet army was advancing and the Nazis were fleeing. Elie learned that those who stayed behind in the hospital were waiting to be liberated by the Soviet army, and were ultimately rescued.
The camp was to be evacuated due to the advance of the Russian army. Elie learned that those who stayed behind in the hospital were to be left behind because they were too weak to travel, and they were subsequently liberated by the Russian army.
The irony lies in the fact that Elie chooses to leave the hospital and evacuate with the rest of his unit, thinking it would be safer, when in reality, those who stayed behind were liberated shortly after and found to be in better condition. This decision ultimately leads to him experiencing more suffering and hardship during the evacuation.
Elie left the hospital because the man he had been talking to told him that the people in the hospital were not being evacuated but he said the SS were probably not going to let the patients be liberated so he would be killed if he stayed there along with everyone in the hospital.
yes she does she dies in hospital and they find in the forth book when Lee takes Elie to the cemetrey
Elie and his father must make a decision whether to go on the death march or stay in the infirmary at the camp. Elie decides that the camp will probably be bombed by the Nazis after it's evacuation and the sick peopel in the infirmary will be killed. He believes this because the Nazis have no use for sick people. Elie and his father go on the death march, which proves to be a bad choice because two days after the camp was evacuated and Elie and his father went on the march, people in the infirmary were freed. Had Elie and his father stayed in the infirmary, they would have been freed from the reign of the Nazis and his father would have survived the Holocaust.
To get his foot recovered. His foot swelled up twice the size of his normal foot because of the cold weather. Hope it helps!!!!!!
