Why people think that Marilyn Manson is a bad influence?

Many people dislike Marilyn Manson because of his ways. Many people dislike the fact that he shows his true self and thoughts/opinions wherever he goes. The simple fact is that many people disagree with him, and therefore see him as a "threat".
Many religious people do not like him, because he isn't a creationist. They accuse him of being a Satanist among other things. Many people say he is dilouting our children and in general our culture.
Then it comes to how he presents himself. Many people think he is mentally deranged because of how 'free spirited' he is in the fact he doesnt care what others think and is himself. Many people are sickened by his music and the fact that he wears makeup, along with other things he has done in concerts and his personal life.
Many people in general, believe that rock, metal, hardcore, ect music is making people become hommicidal, angry, depressed, among other things.
So basically, it just about all comes down to a disagreement of Opinions and Ideas, or ways of life.

∙ 12y agobecause he had different and pretty much original ideas. the U.S. didnt really know how to react to something like him. people were encouraged to follow god and not question anything. but, when Manson came, he encouraged people to believe in themselves and question the world around them.
