What natural resources Sacramento and San Joaquin Valley Have?

Sacramento is in the northern end of the San Joaquin Valley and isn't a valley that is separate from the San Joaquin. We have many natural river systems and in Sacramento there is the delta. The mountain ranges located in the San Joaquin Valley are the coastal range, the Sierra Nevada, and Sequoia There is tall pine and redwoods located in the mountain ranges as well as rivers that hold trout and other fish. Many of our river systems have been disrupted due to dams that were erected in the 1900's, so some of the natural fishing grounds have disappeared. In the southern end of the valley there is oil. Much of the valley has one of the largest area for growing all forms of fruit, nuts, vegetables, cotton, rice, and other crops. As well as cattle and dairy farms ( some of the dairies have sold their herds due to the ecomony). I may have missed some of our natural resources, but these are the main ones that we have.
