The Judicial branch of government looks at the laws and interprets the law. The Supreme Court gets cases where a section of the Constitution may be read a certain way. Sometimes they aren't right, but it is the best we have to try to settle cases, problems and disagreements in a civil and calm way. The use of courts and justice goes back thousands of years in history. Without law there is mob rule and life would be hard to live. Law gives society boundaries and sets what is acceptable and unacceptable. The courts help decide that.
