Because our bodies is controlled by 2 systems , nervous and endocrine systems During night regarding the endocrine system the levels of some blood hormones increase and other decrease , the change in their concentration in blood helps the body to reverse some metabolic products to be reused and help the body to get best regeneration rate for cells and for tissues . As regards the nervous system its time for lots of things the most important of which is writing memory where memories are organized and stored in ur brain and this is best carried on during night However when u sleep at least from 4-6 hours would make u able to carry on ur whole day , Otherwise u have to sleep at least 10 hours during daytime to keep carrying on ur Day
