When Hitler(leader of the Holocaust) became dictator of Germany, people were absolutely desperate!! Germany had just lost World War I, and they were losing money very fast. But Hitler took pride in Germany and reminded Germans they weren't filth. Slowly, he gained trust in them and they went along with everything he said. AND LOOK HOW THAT TURNED OUT!
No
yes, Hitler was.
Over 3000 Protestants died in the Holocaust. 5 to 6 million Jews were killed in the Holocaust. However, this is an estimate as it is possible that more may have died.
perpetrator, like Hitler he did not actually kill anyone himself, but he helped create the environment that made the Holocaust possible.
The Holocaust was the attempted extermination of Europe's Jews. At the same time there was an effort to kill as many Gypsies as possible. There were many more victims of the Nazis, but they were not persecuted like those in the Holocaust.
The Holocaust or the Final solution
In effect the US did stop the Holocaust. By aiding the Allied victory, in defeating Germany, the Holocaust was stopped. If the US could have stopped it sooner, it is possible that they could have, but at great cost.
yes, they tried to do as much as possible to follow their religion
The world was in a war, there was little that it could do.
It wasn't, if it was at all possible one shuold go back in time and stop this. It was meaningless genocide.
The main weapons used in the Holocaust were fear and hope, these are of course abstract and pictures are not possible. Combatants; for example in one of the uprisings, used normal military weapons and improvised devices.
Holocaust denial began while it was happening, early 40s. The Allies did not believe it until they saw it for themselves. Knowing future generations would be in doubt, they tried to film and document as much as possible.
