At the time of medieval period,the church made a great influence in Europe in term of conversion.The barbarians were mostly the converts and they learned God from Catholicism.There were great missionary including St. Benedict to the Germans land,St. Ansgar to the Scandinavian region,St.Augustine of Canterbury to England,St.Patrick to Ireland,St Cyril and St.Methodius to the Slavic region,and they were plenty of great saint especially St.Thomas Aquinas , St.Anselm.St Francis of Asisi,St. Anthony de Padua, St.Catherine of Siena and many other.
