The Steve Irwin video was probably destroyed because it showed his death. If that video would have still existed all kinds of people like little children could have watched it on the internet and that video is something little children should not watch.

Again, I suggest you do some research on the web about these animals. I refer again to the Crocodile Hunter website. Steve Irwin kept American Alligators along with the Salt Water Crocodiles that he always profiled. He had a show that distinguished the behavioral differences between the two kinds of crocodilians. Essentially, it is about blowing bubbles in the water, though. Navigate through the site and you can contact the zoo staff and ask them. You might even be able to find an old video of Steve Irwin with his alligators and crocs.
