Muhammad preached to people from Madinah who had come to Makkah on pilgrimage and they accepted Islam. Thus Islam began to spread rapidly in madinah. The Muslims were facing torture in makkah and so the people of Madinah decided to inivte the Muslims to madinah to protect them. They approached Muhamamd with their offer who accpted their offer and emigrated to the madinah. Thus he was accepted there because the people of Madinah had themselves invited him.
