There are no records of who invented the Chinese kite, however, some believe it was the invention of Mozi and Lu Ban, two Chinese philosophers. Mozi and Lu Ban lived in the 5th century BC.
the reason the Chinese invented the kite is to use it for wars but at first they just liked them for coolness so thanks for clicking here oops almost forgot that there is a 100 foot dragon kite all made out of the material for Cd's and there is100 feet of it oops already said that sorry bye bye
the moon was important to the Chinese because it, in a way, helped them win a rebellion
There are pictoral and literary references to kites before 100 BC. The Chinese, Indian, Egyptian, American Indian, Australian Aborigine and some European countries have all made reference to flying objects on the wind by holding a string. Some archaeologists think the first sail boat may have been a cloth or hide of some kind supported by sticks or tethers to the boat before written history. I haven't yet found a reliable reference to who made the first kite on January 1 1400, though. I would assume that kite flying was a fairly popular celebration of the Gregorian New Year. The kite was first invented and popularized approximately 2,800 years ago in Weifang, China, where materials ideal for kite building were readily available: silk fabric for sail material, fine, high-tensile-strength silk for flying line, and resilient bamboo for a strong, lightweight framework. Alternatively, kite author Clive Hart and kite expert Tal Streeter hold that kites existed far before that time. The kite was said to be the invention of the famous 5th century BCE Chinese philosophers Mozi and Lu Ban. By at least 549 CE paper kites were being flown, as it was recorded in that year a paper kite was used as a message for a rescue mission.
Wind speed, aerodynamics and the weight of the kite
The kites came from the Chinese.

Basically the lift of the kite is made by the actual parts of the tail. The feathers on the kite make it sturdy in the wind.
The Kite.
The kite comes to us from the Chinese. They were flying them some 2800 years ago. The Kite was invented in china by Lua ben

Mo Tzu was the Chinese inventor of the kite in 400 B.C. In ancient China, kites were used in religious ceremonies and for testing weather.
No one knows exactly how or who invented the first kite. It is thought that the earliest use of kiteswas among the Chinese.
Wind speed, wind direction, line tension, and the weight of the kite are important variables for flying a kite. These factors determine how well the kite will fly and how easy it will be to control.
George Washington made the kite in 400 BC while rapeing his wife.
See related links. No one knows exactly how and who invented the first kite.
The Chinese used them for war as signals and to test the wind.
