Knifes were created for a lot of reasons. They were created for cutting the skin off of the hunters kill. They are used for skinning the scales off of fish or the skin off a snake. before knifes were invented people used their teeth to pull off the parts of the animal they didn't want. Cavemen invent knife like objects the took a long stone and use a rougher stone to sharpen the long one and they used that to cut things. But now people have upgraded to better way of making them. That way it is a lot easier for people to use them.
