What did the new covenant erase?

The New Covenant took effect the same minute that Jesus Christ died. The New Covenant erased the Death Penalty either by stoning or any other method invented by man. The New Covenant is based on Mercy and Forgiveness and 2nd Chances. Unfortunately 95% of the Jews rejected Jesus as the Messiah and son of God by asking the Roman Empire to kill Jesus. The Jews have until this day of the 21st Century innocent blood in their hands for asking the Romans to kill Jesus so the Jews are not God's people at all.

Where is the faithful remnant of Judaism today?

According to Judaism, those Jews who believe in God and do his Mitzvot or Commandments are those who are faithful and will have a share in the World to Come. However, Jews typically do not speak of a faithful remnant; this tends to be a Christian designation for ethnic Israelites/Jews who believe that Jesus Christ is the Messiah. Under this rubric, Messianic Jews* who convert to Messianic Judaism from Traditional Rabbinic Judaism or are their descendants are the "faithful remnant". Such a concept of a "faithful remnant of Judaism" is alluded to in Romans 9:27. Jews would not argue that people who believe in Jesus Christ as the Messiah are faithful Jews, but rather that they have abandoned their faith for Christianity.*See this Related Question which discusses how Messianic Judaism is a form of Protestant Christianity.

What was Jews influence to the development of Christianity as a new religion?

True Christianity isn't a religion, it is about a relationship with God. It is based on the death of Jesus being a suitable sacrifice for sin so Jesus is the cornerstone of Christian belief. Christianity developed after Jesus' death. Through the guidance of the Holy Spirit the word of Jesus' death burial and ressurection was spread throughout the world. True Christianity is about entering into a covenant to accept God as one's God and to faithful keep this covenant which including obeying God as one God. Jesus of Nazareth is the Messenger of this Covenant that all must enter into when accepting God as one's God. That is basis for true Christian to begin having a love and faith based relationship with the Creator God. The primary mission of Jesus of being born as man was to institute this Covenant as its mediator. This Jesus did by offering himself as the Lamb of God in the Passover Covenant, dying to pay the penalty of humankind's sin.

Why did Jews want Romans to crucify christ?

Well, actually they were jews, just not the ones who followed Jesus. You see, those people didn't think that Jesus was the Son of God, they thought that was blasphemy. So Gods' plan of how the world would run until it comes to an end, was halfway through... Jesus rose from His death.

What was God's gift to the Jews?

God's gift to the Jews is the promise God gave to Abraham ,Issac, and Jacob. It's an everlasting covenant. Like the land Israel is in now. It belongs to them. It's a promise God made with Abraham, Issac, and Jacob and carried through to Moses and King David. The only thing is that, some Jews don't embrace Jesus as Messiah. My ? to the Jews that don't believe Jesus is the Messiah, other than Jesus, who has fulfilled all the old testament prophecy concerning who is the Messiah?

The symbol of the New Covenant in Christianity is often associated with the image of the cross, representing the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ to establish a new relationship between God and humanity. How does god demonstrate that he wants all of his commandments obeyed perfectly?

My beliefs:In the Old Testament, the Jews were bound by the Mosaic laws. They had to follow all the laws to be considered faithful in Gods eyes.God, knowing that man could not follow all the laws, sent his Son Jesus to live, and die so that through faith in him we could have favor with God.
