Mariana Bridi da Costa's hands and feet were amputated due to complications from a condition called septicemia, which restricted the flow of blood to her hands and feet. When she first became ill she was misdiagnosed with kidney stones and by the time she was correctly diagnosed with a urinary tract infection, she already had her hands and feet amputated. Additionally, she also had her stomach removed due to internal bleeding. She eventually succumbed to the damage caused by these severe infections and passed away.
Mariana Bridi da Costa died as a result of the severe infections she was suffering from (after being misdiagnosed with kidney stones). By the time she was correctly diagnosed with a urinary tract infection, she was already suffering from septicemia, which was the reason for her feet and hands being amputated (due to restriction of blood flow to these areas). Additionally, she also had her stomach removed due to internal bleeding. She eventually succumbed to the damage caused by these severe infections.
Mariana Bridi da Costa was a Brazilian model who became a finalist twice in the Miss Brazil World Pageant. She led a fairly successful modeling career in addition to her career in pageantry. Bridi first began modeling in local fashion shows and competitions when she was 14-years-old. After being misdiagnosed with kidney stones, she ended up suffering from a severe urinary tract infection as well as septicemia (bacteria in the blood), which resulted in her feet and hands being amputated. Unfortunately, she passed away on January 24th from complications, including internal bleeding and multiple organ failure. She was only 20-years-old at the time of her death. Little is known about her family and other personal information since--until the time of her death making news headlines--most of the world had not heard of her.
Arms, legs, hands, feet, fingers, and toes can be amputated. Most amputations involve small body parts such as a finger, rather than an entire limb.
Um, if your feet are amputated you can get artificial ones. Sort of the same thing as false legs or hands or teeth.
How would you close the door? You'd have to have your hands amputated in the first place to be able to close the oven door! Unless, you were a midget and then you'd fit your whole body in but then you'd be dead Generally, microwave ovens have an interlock on them as a safety device which prevents them working when the door is open. If, for any reason, this has been disabled it would be as foolish to put your hands in them as it would be to put your hands in an open fire or a pot of boiling water.
Hands down is the opposite of Hands Up...
The possessive form of "the hands of the thief" is "the thief's hands."
