Mexicans also chose on their own to classify themselves as "Latin" or "Hispanic" to change their status from basic white as they had always been classified, to their own "Latin" feel. This is good in a way because it shows the world that there is more to life than just being "white" or any race. It may have been seen as an insult to the so called "white" that the Mexicans did not want to be considered general "White" but that is not the intention. Every person is their own custom "race" for that matter. No two people are alike

go to us census and you will see that there are techinically many who consider themselves "white" but do not look "white" like under the white race= mexicans, middle eastern etc...
i think Mexicans because Americans don't even know what Mexicans can do to them when their mad. so do you hear that Americans don't mess with Mexicans. unless you want to end up in a hospital.
