In WWI planes were used mostly for reconnaissance.
before WWI, but fighter planes developed in early WWI.
I guess you could say that all vehicles are unsafe. Any kind of space craft, planes, helicopters, high speed trains, that sort of thing in perticular. And it's not just the engineering of them that is unsafe, for instance planes are more prone to terrorist attacks.
Yes, extensively. And WWI was the first war in which air planes were used.
Chlorine gas, machine guns, tanks, and planes were used for war.
I dont know but i think they flew them in from planes and dropped them down because WWI was the first war to use planes
He was a WWI German pilot who shot down over 70 planes in WW1.

Airplanes were used as observation planes during WWI; they adjusted artillery fire. WWI was a war of artillery & infantry. Aviation was new; therefore, since artillery was consistently used, and planes spotted artillery, nearly every land battle during WWI had some form of aerial combat taking place ABOVE the battle field...e.g the Somme, Verdun, etc.
In WWI planes were used for reconnaissance until someone dropped grenades outside of their canopy. Then towards the end of the war fully tactical bombers were developed to dropped heavier explosives.
The invention of the atomic bomb did not occur until late in WWII not WWI. There was no such weapon as an atomic bomb in WWI, nor were their any planes that could have handled the weight.
Food and other imports were scarce due to embargoes and blockades. Much of what countries were producing - was needed to replace planes etc destroyed by bombs.
