The standard garment for men is what is called "doublet and hose". Men wore a light shirt with a heavier jacket called a doublet over it. They wore hose, or long stockings on their legs. Over this they wore a pair of short puffy pants, often with an artificially padded and bulging crotch (a codpiece).
It depended a great deal on which men you were talking about. If you were the King or a wealthy nobleman, you were treated differently from a flea-infested part-time beggar and full-time thief. The same applies to women--the Queen was not treated the same way as a diseased taffety punk.
The possible jobs were related to the technologies and social customs of the time. Some will seem familiar: farmers and farm labourers were needed to produce agricultural products. Merchants bought and sold goods to make a profit. Sailors worked on ships which transported trade goods to Europe and further. Some men became soldiers and took a career in the military (which often involved becoming a mercenary as countries did not keep large standing armies.) They could also become guards either for prisons or privately to prevent thieving. They could hire on as a general servant to a wealthy man. There were opportunities in the Church and in the Civil Service for those inclined that way. It is in manufacturing that the jobs may seem unfamiliar, because things were not made in factories by machines but in small shops by hand. Each craftsman had to train for many years to perfect his craft, so they were all specialized. Shakespeare's father was trained in making fine leather and gloves. In the building trades, a thatcher was an expert in thatched roofs, a carpenter in building with wood, and a turner in working with a lathe to make railings and the like (although their main job was making wooden bowls). As you may have noticed, these trade names often became people's surnames. New technologies brought new opportunities; Shakespeare's schoolmate Richard Field went to London to apprentice to a printer (printing had only been invented about a century earlier), became qualified and later became owner of the print shop and printed Shakespeare's first printed work, his poem Venus and Adonis.
In other words, there were a bewildering variety of specialized occupations available in Shakespeare's England.
Well, in his day, women didnt have the same rights. This meant that in the theatre women were not allowed to take part. This meant, if there were any female parts for example : Queen Titania, Midsummer nights dream, a man would have to play that character. This made many women angry, becuase they found it unfair that they couldnt play the parts of their gender, after shakespeare perished, the rule of no women stuck around until the late 1700s when women were finally allowed in theatre, it wasnt common but it was legal
Men in Shakespeare's time were superior to the women, they were the gender who would earn all the money, go out to work and be the leader of the house.
Women didnt have the same rights as men therfore the men would play the women.
because the women couldn't drive to the theatre

Males
All of the female roles were played by male actors in Shakespere's time.
Shakespeare is not the only dramatist of his time to write plays with leading female roles. John Webster's plays The White Devil and The Duchess of Malfi also have strong female leads. The reason probably has to do with the quality of performers in the company. Shakespeare wrote specifically for the actors in his company, and clearly there were a number of talented boys for whom Shakespeare felt confident writing roles like Rosalind, Viola, Isabella and Helena.
Young boys.
In the time of shakespeare women were not allowed to preform on stage. The job of acting was limited to only males. So, for the roles of women the all male cast made adjustments, thus being cross-dressing. Usually young boys were chosen for the roles due to their higher pitched voices and smaller figures. Although it seems like a lot of work when women could have easily filled the roles, it was just the social customs of the time. Due to this, the plays Tewelth Night and many others were actually much more humorous for the original viewers. Can you imagine a man dressed up to look like woman who is pretending to be a man? The most simplistic answer is that women were not allowed in the acting profession at this time, hence the male actors costumed for female roles.
Males
In Shakespeare's time, all female roles were played by young boys or men because women were not allowed to perform on stage. This was a common practice due to societal norms and restrictions at the time.
Most of the time, all roles were played by men.
Males played both female and male parts, because acting was not a "suitable" profession for women at the time.

Males played female roles because at the time, women were not allowed to act on stage because it would be indecent for a woman to show herself off to a group of men.

because, at the time when his plays were performed females were not allowed to do much so only men could act, which is why female roles were played by men.
