Duragesic patches were recalled because there were negligible tears in the patches, thus releasing more fentanyl than should have been released per hour. These patches were taken off the market, the pharmaceutical companies (including the ones that made generic patches) rectified the problem and then the patches were on the market again.

Is it illegal for dealer to sell car for twice the amount of its true market value?

No it s no illegal at twice the "true market value". For your information the "true market value" is whatever price someone is willing to pay. It is not an average value. If the dealer can get 10 times the average value then great for him and shame on the buyer for paying way to much for the car.

Is a diversified portfolio with a beta of 2 twice as volatile as the market portfolio?

Yes. That's what it means. The "beta of 2" is a comparison to the market portfolio. The volatility measure is usually annualized standard deviation and the "market portfolio" is commonly the S&P 500 Index, but should be a broad index that is similar to the securities in the portfolio. The market portfolio used for a portfolio of international securities could be the MSCI EAFE Index, for example.

You have just bought a fresh slaughtered chicken and the skin has some green patches on it is this all right to eat?

It could be possible that the green patches are from bruising. It could also be that during gutting, some bile may have gotten onto the skin and stained it, though there doesn't seem to be anything to substantiate that thinking. Do not eat the green skin. You could take it back to where you purchased it for replacement and an explanation. To me, it sounds like it could also be moldy. Cut off the green patches on thie skin and check the actual meat. If it is the correct color, it will be fine, just throw away the green skin and don't even think twice about it!

Does Delaware allow voters to recall the governor?

It means a petition is made by voters to dismiss the Governor and hold a new election. This has happened twice: 1921 - Lynn Frazier of North Dakota was recalled in the midst of a dispute over state owned industries 2003 - Gray Davis of California was recalled due to arguments over the budget and criticisms of his campaigning In addition, there was a successful recall petition against Evan Mecham of Arizona due to his habit of making racially insensitive comments and allegations of corruption. However, he was impeached and dismissed by the legislature before the recall came into effect.

What is the market capitalization of the US Stock market versus the rest of the world?

According to p. 100 of "The Bogleheads' Guide to Investing" (published in 2007), US stocks represent about one half the value of world stocks. According to Wilshire Associates, the total U.S. market cap is approximately $15.35 trillion (May 23, 2007). According to the World Federation of Exchanges, global market cap stood at 51.23 trillion in January 2007. So the rest-of-world market cap is at least twice as large as the U.S. stock market.
