The first Klan was founded in 1865 by veterans of the Confederate Army. Its purpose was to restore white supremacy in the aftermath of the American Civil War. The Klan resisted Reconstruction by intimidating freedmen and white Republicans, who at the time had a predominantly liberal base Also, the Ku Klux Klan believe that whites are the predominant race, much like the Nazis in WWII. They think they are doing the world a favour by committing genocide o blacks, Jews and other non-Christians.

What group besiedes African American suffered from Ku Klux Klan attcks?

There were three Ku Klux Klan groups. Republicans were the target of the attacks of the original Ku Klux Klan which formed in 1865. Since Republicans freed the blacks from slavery, blacks wanted to vote Republican, so the use of the Klan by the Democrats kept them in fear of voting. When did ku klux klan die?

You need to be more specific here. The Ku Klux Klan was not an individual but an organization so technically speaking it can't "die." The original Klan effectively ceased to exist in the 1870s about ten years after its founding, but there have since been other organizations using that name, some of which still exist.

How Many People Hate Ku Klux klan?

There is no way to say how many, some people that don't hate the KKK simply don't state their feelings because they know it will be taken as an outrage, and with great hostility. Sometimes on News shows there are even people who publicly declare their support for the KKK. But I think it can assumed that those people are only the 1% of the crowd and in general yes everyone does not support the KKK....At least I would hope so.

Where did the name KKK come from?

The name "Ku Klux Klan" was most likely originated from the Greek word "kuklos", meaning circle. Also, "Klan" was considered another version for the word "clan", so the founders of the KKK must have merged these words together to form the name of their organization, "Ku Klux Klan". All together, the name suggests that the KKK is a circle, or band, of brothers.~ Rosalind FraserVisit the link below for more.
