"Dynasty" doesn't specifically refer to China. It is used in any case where several family members are king, emperor, or something similar, one after the other. Often it passes from father to son. Thus, if for example four or five members of the same family (an original king, and his descendants) get to be king, they are said to be part of a "dynasty".
Why did the Chinese Civilization begin?
A dynasty was created after war. Someone came to the power/won. Then they had some good years and developed the society but as always there is someone who is unsatisfied and so rebellions accure and after a time there would be chaos. The dynasty would collaps and then another war would begin with someone trying to take the power. This is called The Dynastic Cycle. Google it!
