∙ 7y agoWomen were allowed to vote in Wyoming BEFORE it became a state. When it was finally admitted as a state, many people wanted them to take away the women's rights. The leaders of Wyoming, however, refused and insisted that would rather keep the women and not be a state than become a state without them.
