Why when you split a question and look for its history it doesn't say who created it Only who split it?

This is because WikiAnswers only tracks who creates a question, and not who originally created that wording in the history. It would be nearly impossible to have a history for every alternate wording, and who created it. Also, since it will cause performance issues, WikiAnswers only tracks who created an individual question, and not an individual alternate wording.

All you have to do is go to the question's history and look there. That option is under Question Tools to the left of the question. However, you might not be able to find out. Many contributors are unregistered. Also, if the question started as an alternate for another question, all you will see in the history is the name of the supervisor who split it out into a new question.
