I'm not a mechanic / technician but I would start with the basics :
Check the fuel pump shut off switch ( inertia switch ) has it been " tripped " where the reset button on top of the switch has popped up
Also , it could be a fuse , the fuel pump relay , a bad wiring connection , or a bad fuel pump
On a 2002 Lincoln Navigator : ( the electric fuel pump is INSIDE the fuel tank )

On a 2001 Lincoln Navigator : The electric fuel pump is INSIDE the fuel tank ( it is installed from the top of the tank )
The electric fuel pump is INSIDE the gas tank
I just paid $440 for pump and $187 for labor on a 2001 Navigator (100,000 mi)
