Yes because they want to make more money for the remake they will proably cast Anne Hathaway to play Dorothy since she will Judy Garland in a future autobigraphy film about the iconic talented woman.
lol no but i am...
There is no remake ... yet ... of "The Wizard of Oz."Specifically, there have been adaptations of the original 1900 book edition and the beloved 1939 film version of "The Wizard of Oz." Examples include "The Wiz" in 1978, "The Muppets' Wizard of Oz" in 2005 and "Tin Man" in 2007. The film "Return to Oz" in 1985 operates as a sequel. But there was talk in 2010 of a prequel in the form of "Oz: The Great and Powerful" and of an actual remake of "The Wizard of Oz" by Robert Zemeckis (b. May 4, 1952).
Yes, it appears that a remake of "The Wizard of Oz" may be a possibility.Specifically, Robert Zemeckis (b. May 14, 1952) included a remake among his plans for the future. He discussed this possibility in 2010. But other projects that may take time also are in his "wish" and "to do" piles.
The book is Ozma of Oz. The movie is Return to Oz. Neither are remakes. Both are sequels.
Yes. The wizard of Oz is a musical.
Assuming you're reffering to the 1939 Wizard of Oz, a remake of the 1925 movie (there was also a short released in 1910 called "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz" and a movie from 1914 called "His Majesty, The Scarecrow of Oz"which i don't really know that much about). Judging from amount of votes on IMDb, I'd say that Star Wars is more famous than Star Wars. I don't know what the case is over the in the US. Here though, in Norway, I was aware of the Star Wars films way before Wizard of Oz
Daniel Scott was the producer of The Wizard of OZ
