Cheap gas, try putting the highest octane, believe me it will make a difference.
The switch is on the steering column about 18 inches from the floor and held in with 2 screws,. Put a new one in then adjust it by moving it back and forth to where it will start and turn off in the proper position.

Try checking the fuses under the hood. My Regal did that and I found the fuse for the electronic ignition was blown.
My 2003 Buick Century also did that today and I couldn't start my car. Apparently the key for the ignition has been damaged somehow and won't let the car start. Try using your extra key to see if that helps.

give it a tune up it has to be one of a few standard things it is the battery, alternator, spark plugs, distributer cap, spark plug wires, or gas
On a 2004 Buick Lesabre it could be a faulty (MAP) Sensor, Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor. The car could start, run and drive, and when you shut it off it will crank but not start up again.
On my 2002 I turn key to ON, but don't start, pump gas pedal 3 times, turn off key. Mark
