There is no reason why women should not be in combat. My friend's dad was in the army. He said that there were 20 women in his division and 60 men. When his division was at target practice, almost always the women hit the target. He said it was because the women took more time in aiming there shot.
no. especially if they are fighting side by side with men. i mean absolutely no offense..but fighting along side with a woman may lower morale. not only that... it can grow dissention among the troops. women are different from men, whether they choose to believe it or not. they just cannot do many of the things that a man can do and should not. there is absolutely nothing wrong with a women in the military, but fighting on the frontline can damage any results.
AnswerThis is a matter of opinion and personal belief. I believe that if a woman wants to risk her life for her country, she should have the right just as a man. It is not a gender issue. It should solely be based on willingness and ability/qualification, just like how the men got where they are. Some argue that it could lead to distracted soldiers, but the way I see it, if you are engaged in a firefight and all you can think about is some 'hottie' next to you should not be in the army - you should be in 7th grade.because their not as physically capable as a man, plus men are stronger so that would impact on them carrying guns and stuff,it has been claimed that incorporating woman into combat divisions would undermine group cohesion.
Some are. Most are in the navy in subs and ships, so they don't die as easily.
I think the all women should fight in front lines in the war because if the women are brave to take care of their kids while their men is in the war the should they are also able to fight in the front lines in the war.
the reserve trench were the lin eof trenchs that are behind the front lin trench. if or when the front line trench is captured, the solidiers can use the reserve trench line and the substitute front line
Byinfluencing women and people to win the war.

Well, Women join in volunteer war service such as nursing army service or Red Cross. Women who were at the home front knited socks or cloths to soliders. Some of them began to do men job such as truck driver. The important role of women were to encourage men to enlist to the war.
No! There were camp followers, but no front line soldiers. Women might have driven wagons or been nurses.
Factories run by the women as the men were on the front line fighting :)
In WWII, on the Russian front, there were women fighter pilots, snipers, radio operators, medics but I don't think front line infantry. During the Israeli war of 1948, they were on the front lines, but I don't know what capacity.
There was no true front line in the civil war, but the Potomac river was one of the "front lines"
Yes, women worked as soldiers, sailors and air personnel. They did everything except front line combat.
women did not have equal rights and we thout women should not go to war.

Women on both sides of the war did many things, including caring for the sick and injured, and carrying supplies to camps that would be sent to the front lines. In many cases, especially WWI and WWII, some women took over their husband's jobs while they were gone so they could still support themselves or their family. In rare cases, women were front line medics and soldiers!Although many women were front line medics and soldiers, most women carried supplies to camps and helped care for the sick and injured.(god knows the hospitals were overflowing)Hope that helps :)

Many American women worked in defense plants making munitions, weapons, and machinery. Some belonged to female branches of the services such as the Women's Army Corps, freeing men for front line duty. Many served as nurses in all theaters of the war.
