If the natural safety switch (neutral safety switch) is gone or malfunctioning, a GMC Savana will likely not start. The neutral safety switch is designed to prevent the engine from starting unless the transmission is in park or neutral. Without it, the vehicle may not recognize that it's safe to start, leading to starting issues. It’s advisable to replace or repair the switch for proper operation.
You can start driving at age 17.
